The tenant → you
Instead of tying up a large sum of money, you subscribe to our service and pay a premium. In exchange, you receive an official guarantee certificate proving that your rent is secured.
SmartCaution → Your guarantor
We issue this certificate and act as your guarantor to your landlord. In the event of a dispute covered by the guarantee (unpaid rent, damage), our financial strength provides coverage, up to the guaranteed amount.
The landlord → your property management company
Your landlord accepts this official certificate in lieu of a bank deposit. As a FINMA-approved company, we guarantee a flawless commitment to all Swiss property management companies.
